Shippers’ Council, FRSC Reaffirm Road Traffic Partnership

The Nigerian Shippers’ council (NSC) has reaffirmed its partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) as part of measures facilitate free flow of traffic along the Apapa Axis of Lagos State.

 The Executive Secretary of NSC, Pius Ukeyima stated this while receiving the Corps Marshal of FRSC, Shehu Mohammed who paid a visit to the council’s headquarters in Lagos .

Ukeyima acknowledged the role the FRSC plays in easing the persistent gridlock at the Apapa corridor, which has significantly contributed to the safe and efficient movement of cargo.

He emphasized that the FRSC’s intervention has been instrumental in helping the government implement long-term solutions to traffic challenges, thereby stabilizing the nation’s economy.

In his response, the Corps Marshal said the Corps remain a cornerstone in the drive towards safer highway and economic resilience.

Mohammed also pledged that the FRSC would continue to set the standard for effective traffic administration in the axis and across the country.
