Czech automaker Skoda’s global delivery in November went down marginally to 109,000 units, a drop of 1 per cent from November 2018, when it recorded 110,100 units.
The automaker registered 1,300 deliveries in the Indian market, down 8.1 per cent compared to the same month last year, when it recorded 1,400 units, claims the company in a release.
In its largest single market, China, sales declined 3.2 per cent to 27,100 units last month, compared to 28,000 units delivered in the same month in 2018.
Skoda also says that demands for its SUV models like Karoq, Kodiaq and Kamiq remain high.
Alain Favey, Skoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, emphasises, “Globally we are above the market level, except for China, where we are getting under the pressure due to the continuously decreasing market. Our successful product campaign has been crucial to our success: alongside our successful SUV models, the Scala, the Kamiq, the first two iV models Superb iV and Citigoe iV, as well as the new Octavia, we are offering the right vehicles to inspire our customers.”
