Super Falcons maintains position as Africa’s best in FIFA ranking

Nigeria’s female foot ball team, Super Falcons retain position as the best within the Africa continent in the new FIFA ranking released on its website on Friday.
  However, the seven-time Africa Women’s Cup of Nations Winners remained at number 37th position in the world.
Banyana Banyana of South Africa, who made their debut in the football event of the Olympics at the Rio 2016 Olympics, were Africa’s highest movers, as they moved up four places from 52nd to 48th in the world.
In the overall world rankings, there was no change in the top three spots, as the United States of America, Germany and France occupy the positions respectively.
