Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines, Professor Obiora Okonkwo has commended Air Peace for delivering what he described as an exceptional and seamless flight experience on its Abuja–London Heathrow service.
In a statement recalling his journey on January 24, 2026, Prof. Okonkwo said the flight was peaceful and professionally executed from start to finish.
He praised the check-in process as world-class, noted that departure was right on schedule, and described the inflight service as excellent.
According to him, the lunch served onboard stood out for its quality and creativity, blending Nigerian and continental dishes in what he termed an “Airpeaceous” culinary experience.
He also applauded the smooth landing at London’s Heathrow Airport, likening it to a bird-like touchdown despite the massive size of the Boeing 777 aircraft.
Drawing from his experience as a regular international traveller of nearly four decades, Prof. Okonkwo gave the flight an overall seven-star rating, applauding the entire Air Peace team for their professionalism and consistency.
He further paid tribute to the Chairman of Air Peace, Mr. Allen Onyema, whom he described as “the King of Nigerian airspace,” expressing pride in his achievements and offering prayers for continued grace and success as he continues to set new standards and break barriers in the aviation industry.
