WestBlue boss, Valentina Mintah wins CEO of the year award

Foremost Internationally acclaimed IT and Trade Development Consultant, Ms. Valentina Mintah, has been crowned as Business and ICT Consulting CEO of the Year at the 7th Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards tagged Ghana @ 60 Edition held in Accra, Ghana.

  The honour is a follow up to series of personal and corporate accolades received in the last twelve months by Mintah and her firm,West Blue Consulting Limited, engaged as Technical Consultant of the Ghana National Single Window Project.

Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards (GECEA) is the country’s premier awards platform for emerging entrepreneurs, corporate executives, established business owners, innovative and creative entrepreneurs who own and operate businesses in Ghana.

According to the promoters, “the award seeks to reward excellence by the most committed entrepreneurs and corporate executives in Ghana, who have exhibited superior performance that has helped Ghanaians emerge out of poverty, create jobs and add value to the society”.

CEO Mintah was commended for her exceptional leadership and managerial skills that has transformed the processing of trade across Ghana’s borders. She was described as a pioneer in the use of innovative trade facilitation tools in Africa, as well as implementing a world class PAAR system for the Customs Division of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), that has simplified clearance and lower cost of imports into Ghana.

While accepting the award, CEO Mintah said “I am very honoured and thankful to God, family and friends, my amazing staff, clients and government for creating the enabling environment for private business to thrive. I dedicate the award to all who dare to dream”.

A statement explained that the Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards is an annual event organized by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, in collaboration with Entrepreneurs Association of Ghana, Ministries of Trade & Industry and Finance.
