Weststar unveils four new Mercedes-Benz models

Mercedes-Benz, represented in Nigeria by Weststar Associates has consolidated its leadership position in the luxury segment with four new models.
Highly respected in Nigeria because of its decades of resilience and first class after sales support, the new products according to the company were unveiled to meet the demands of the markets.
The new models are the all-new E-Class, GLE Sport Utility Vehicle, the V-Class multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and GLC models.
Unveiling the products in Lagos, Nigeria, Managing Director of Weststar Associates, Mr Mirko Plath said: “The new models, which are the latest edition of Mercedes GLE 400, V 250, GLC 300 and E 200 would be followed with the introduction of other “exciting products” to meet the specific needs of the market”.
According to Plath, the fresh design would continue to inspire confidence in the minds of customers especially in the area of customer satisfaction.
Regarded as a house hold name in Nigeria, the E-Class now boast of series of luxurious and safey conscious attributes.
Part of the attributes on display in the E-Class are the 10th generation intelligent units.
E-Class:
The foremost auto firm said: “Mercedes-Benz is taking a big step into the future with the new E‑Class. Tenth-generation business saloon delivers stylish highlights with its distinct, emotive design and high-grade interior.
“New E-Class also marks the world premiere of numerous technical innovations. They enable comfortable, safe driving on a new level plus a new dimension in driver assistance – among other things.
“Complete with infotainment and control systems offering an all‑new experience. Likewise exemplary: a newly developed diesel engine coupled with lightweight design and record-breaking aerodynamics figures set the standards for efficiency in this segment, while new, optionally available multi-chamber air suspension ensures outstanding ride comfort and driving dynamics. The sum total of its innovations, including the Active Lane-change Assistant which allows the driver to steer into the selected lane as if by magic, make the E-Class the most intelligent saloon in the business class.
