FCMB to brief Police on manager’s suicide

The management of First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB) is to cooperate with the police on the dealth of one of its manager, Olisa Nwakoby, who allegedly  committed suicide on Friday.

 Nwakoby, who was until his death branch manager of the Bank in Lekki, Lagos,   allegedly shot himself in the headon Friday in front of a church.

 Though it was not clear as at press time why he allegedly killed himself, a source at the Bank’s head office said the police “has commenced detailed investigation”.

 The source said: “This is not the time to speculate. Let’s wait for the police to do their job. On our (FCMB) part, we will make all relevant information available to the police. We will support them in their investigations”.

  Reports on the social media alleged that the Manager killed himself over his inability to activate a non performing loan of N350 Million.
