Association of Luxury Bus Owners of Nigeria (ALBON),on Tuesday, urged the Federal Government to help faciloitate loan facilities and other palliatives for its members.
According to the Association, the loan facilities and palliatives will assist members overcome economic challenges associated with border closure, lockdown occasioned by coronavirus pandemic.
Briefing Journalists in Onitsha, Anambra State, ALBON’s National Task Force Chairman, Joseph Ejiofor and Anambra State Task Force Chairman Uchenna Maduakor explained that members have lost over N2billion, adding that “we are still counting losses as the lockdown and border closure persis“.
Ejiofor said: “Most members find it difficult to pay salaries and feed their families because since March 2020, their buses in Nigeria and in other Africans countries were parked in garages without doing any business.”
