For the nine months period ended September 2021, Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc (SAHCO)
attained N6.2b (N6,423,637) revenue, compared with N4.9 (N4,955,544) recorded within same period in 2020.
In its unaudited nine months interim financial statement to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on Wednesday, SAHCO Plc explained that gross profit for the period stood at N2,939,821 compared with N2,157,663 attained in 2020.
The company also disclosed that it secured a loan facility from the United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA)
”This is a facility of ₦319,041,494.72(€768,608) which was sourced to purchase ground handling equipment.
“The facility is for a tenor of 4 years effective 2020. The interest rate is floating at 14% p.a below the lender’s prime lending rate currently 25% per annum giving an initial gross interest rate of 11% per annum.
“The facility is secured against fixed and floating assets of the company and personal guarantee of the Chairman”.
The financial statement approved by the Board on October 27, 2021, was signed by Chairman of the Board, Dr Taiwo Afolabi, Managing Director, Agboarumi Basil and Chief Financial Officer, Rotimi Omotoso.
