The National Coordination Office of the APPEALS Project has commenced a Pre-Mission exercise in the Participating States ahead of the World Bank 7th Implementation Support Mission scheduled to begin in December 2021.
The Pre-Mission which commenced simultaneously on Monday with three teams in Cross River, Kogi and Kano States, will be replicated across the other three participating states of Enugu, Kano and Lagos in the days ahead.
Information posted on Facebook by National Communication specialist, Aishat Onusi explained that the overall objective of the mission is to review project implementation progress across all project components to ensure that the project is on track, as well as to provide implementation support to the project teams in all areas of critical concern and agree with States on the required actions and activities that would further facilitate the achievement of the Project Development Objective.
City Business News reports that the Pre-Mission exercise is featuring report presentations, technical sessions and field visits to farming clusters across the priority value chains in each participating state.
