ASEA partners AfDB on capital market development

The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) and African Development Bank (AfDB) have signed a Memoradum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing capital markets within the continent.

Prominent among those who attended the ceremony held recently at Abidjan include Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and President African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA), Oscar N. Onyema,President of African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina and Stefan Nalletamby, Director, Financial Sector Development Department, African Development Bank (AfDB).

Also at the event were Chief Executive Officer of  Nairobi Securities Exchange, Mr. Geoffrey O. Odundo; Chief Executive Officer Casablanca Stock Exchange and ASEA Deputy President, Mr. Karim Hajji and Chief Executive Officer BRVM, Mr. Edoh Kossi Amenonve, among others.
