Diamond Bank unveils Mobile POS

To increase safety and reliability in payment, Diamond Bank Plc in collaboration with Microsoft has introduced   Diamond Mobile POS (MPOS).

Speaking on the partnership between Diamond and Microsoft on Tuesday in Lagos, Diamond Bank head of Emerging Business, Njideka Esomeju said the collaboration would encourage and strengthen customers to move to the next level.

Esomeju said: “With the Diamond Mobile POS you can conveniently make payments for goods and services using your debit credit or prepaid cards.”

She explained that  existing large retailers are adopting the mobile POS solution  and integrating them to their current point-of- sale environment to enhance the retail and payment experience.

Esomeju explained that  the platform has created enabling business environment for the Bank’s  numerous customers “while they do not need to visit any of our branch for any transaction”.

She described the MPOS as Smartphone, tablet or dedicated wireless that performs the function of a Point Of Sale terminal (POS) and a cash register.

Esomeju stated further that, “every business need MPOS to grow because  of its convenient payment process and stand as security for employees and no need TO carry cash to and from customers location”.

According to marketing and communications lead, Microsoft Nigeria, Admond Idokoko,  Microsoft application is very sophisticated in terms of modern technology which serves as necessary window to every business organization.

Idokoko explained  that  with Diamond Bank “we will  facilitate development growth to the Nigeria Economic”
