
Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State on Friday, 14th November 2025, received the National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation team for the Department of Business Administration.
A statement explained that the visit marked a key step in the ongoing evaluation of the University’s academic offerings, as the team arrived to assess programme quality, curriculum content, staffing adequacy, and the state of facilities.
The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Professor Anthony Alaba Akinwale, OP, led other principal officers to formally welcome the team to campus.
In his remarks, he reiterated the University’s unwavering commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. He noted that Augustine University continues to prioritise continuous improvement across all academic programmes to ensure compliance with national and global standards.
This latest visit follows earlier accreditation exercises on Monday, 27th October 2025, when NUC teams evaluated two other programmes: Political Science & International Relations, and Chemical Sciences. Those assessments included thorough inspections of laboratories, classrooms, library resources, and interactive sessions with faculty and students.
The ongoing accreditation processes underscore Augustine University’s dedication to strengthening academic quality and providing students with world-class training. The management reaffirmed its readiness to support each stage of the accreditation exercise while upholding the institution’s established culture of excellence in education.
