The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has commissioned an additional service office at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, to bring business registration and compliance services closer to entrepreneurs and strengthen support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The new office was inaugurated on Monday by the Registrar-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Commission, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, as part of efforts to improve access to corporate services and enhance the ease of doing business in Nigeria.
According to the Commission, the TBS office is strategically located to support the Federal Government’s economic inclusion agenda under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by encouraging the formalisation of small businesses.
The office is fully equipped to provide a range of corporate services, including business registration, filing of annual returns and other compliance-related services, enabling business owners to transact directly with the Commission in a faster and more efficient manner.
CAC said the expansion reflects its commitment to making corporate services more accessible to entrepreneurs while promoting regulatory compliance and strengthening the growth of the MSME sector.
The Commission noted that the establishment of the new Lagos office will further simplify the registration process, improve service delivery and encourage more small businesses to operate within the formal economy, thereby contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth.
