The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).
In a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, the Service advised candidates to visit its official website or check selected national newspapers to confirm their status and obtain information on the next stage of the recruitment process.
According to the statement, successful candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and/or SMS, containing instructions on the next phase of the exercise.
The NCS said candidates are required to log on to update.customs.gov.ng using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The Service disclosed that the portal for uploading the medical certificates will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates are expected to complete the process within one week of the portal’s activation.
In addition, successful applicants are required to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
The statement added that candidates who complete the required steps should await the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number, which will be communicated within one week. Further details on documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and requirements, will also be conveyed through official channels.
The Service urged all successful candidates to comply strictly with the outlined procedures and timelines, warning that failure to meet any of the requirements could result in disqualification and the forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated all successful candidates on their success and expressed optimism about welcoming them into the Service as they begin careers dedicated to professionalism, integrity and service to the nation.
