Carloha Nigeria, the official franchise holder, assembler and authorised distributor of Chery vehicles in Nigeria, has announced the nationwide availability of the Chery Q, expanding electric mobility options for Nigerian motorists.
Built around Chery’s global “Quest for Joy” philosophy, the Chery Q combines distinctive design, intelligent technology, advanced safety features, practicality and electric performance.
City Business News reports that the model also builds on the heritage of Chery’s iconic QQ family, reimagined for a new generation of drivers.
Designed for young professionals, growing families, first-time electric vehicle buyers and urban motorists, the Chery Q features an award-winning design recognised with the Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award. Its styling includes expressive geometric elements, rounded LED lighting and a modern two-tone interior.
Despite its compact footprint, the vehicle offers an 85 per cent space-efficiency ratio. Measuring 4,195mm in length with a 2,700mm wheelbase, it provides ample passenger space, while luggage capacity can be expanded from 375 litres to 1,450 litres. It also features a 70-litre front trunk and 38 smart storage compartments.
Electric Performance, Technology
The Chery Q is built on a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform with independent suspension and balanced weight distribution.
According to Carloha, the vehicle offers an estimated 400-kilometre NEDC driving range, while its fast-charging capability can recharge the battery from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in approximately 16.5 minutes.
The vehicle also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, enabling owners to power compatible electrical devices and outdoor equipment directly from the vehicle.
Inside, a 15.6-inch high-definition touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor serves as the centre of the vehicle’s digital interface. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, intelligent voice control, 50W wireless charging, smartphone integration and remote vehicle management through a mobile application.
Advanced Safety Features
The Chery Q comes with a Level 2 Intelligent Driver Assistance System comprising more than 20 advanced safety functions.
These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent High Beam Control, a 540-degree panoramic camera and Automated Parking Assist.
Carloha said the technologies are designed to provide additional assistance to motorists during everyday driving, traffic navigation and parking.
CarlohaCare 6-6-7
Beyond the vehicle, Carloha Nigeria said it is supporting the Chery Q with its CarlohaCare 6-6-7 aftersales package.
The package provides a six-year warranty, six years of free scheduled service up to 120,000 kilometres and a seven-day repair promise. Under the repair promise, Carloha said it will repair the vehicle within seven days or provide a courtesy vehicle where the repair is not completed within the stipulated period.
The company also offers CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Rescue, which provides roadside assistance and a 24-hour assistance line. The service is available to Chery owners, with limited slots for non-Chery owners.

The Chery Q is now available at Carloha showrooms nationwide.
