Customs Decorates 66 Promoted Officers At Seme Command

The Seme Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has decorated 66 prompted Officers with their new ranks.
The colourful ceremony, was attended by Heads of sister security agencies, family members, and stakeholders.
In his address, Comptroller Wale Adenuga, the Customs Area Controller (CAC), congratulated the promoted Officers, emphasizing that their new ranks come with greater responsibility and humility.
He urged them to remain committed to the Service’s vision and work together as a team to make Seme Area Command a pride of the Nigeria Customs Service. Comptroller Adenuga also expressed his appreciation to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi and his management team for ensuring a fair and transparent promotion exercise
The CAC praised the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi for his tireless efforts in promoting a culture of trade facilitation and enhancing the Service’s reputation.
He reiterated the Command’s commitment to supporting the Comptroller-General’s vision and continuing to engage with stakeholders to ensure the border remains a pride of the Service and the best in the West African sub-region.
Speaking on behalf of the decorated Officers, CSC Oreyeni Olufemi expressed gratitude to the Comptroller-General of Customs, the CAC, senior Officers, families, and colleagues.
He pledged that the promoted officers would justify the confidence reposed in them and continue to contribute to the success of the Service.
In a statement, I Sulaiman, Chief Superintendent of Customs and Public Relations Officer, noted that the promotion of the 66 senior officers was a well-deserved recognition of their contributions to the Service.
He emphasized that the ceremony was a celebration of the officers’ achievements and a testament to the Service’s commitment to promoting a culture of excellence and meritocracy.
