South Korean shipbuilding heavyweight, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) has secured an order for the construction of four LNG carriers worth $1.08 billion.
.The four LNG carriers have been ordered by an unnamed shipping company from Oceania, HD KSOE said in a stock exchange filing.
The ships will be built at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, one of the three HD KSOE’s subsidiaries.
According to HD KSOE, the vessels are slated for delivery by January 2028.
