The Founder of ABC Transport Plc, Mr. Frank Nneji, is to chair the 10th Anniversary Lecture of City Business News scheduled to hold on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.
A statement issued on Wednesday by the Publisher of City Business News, Moses Ebosele, explained that the anniversary lecture is titled “Logistics As The Engine Room Of Nigeria’s Economy.”
According to Ebosele, the anniversary lecture is part of activities lined up to celebrate a decade of impactful business journalism, policy engagement and strategic reporting on maritime, transport, automobile, aviation, energy, capital market and the financial sector, among others.
Ebosele explained that Frank Nneji is one of Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurs whose contributions to modern transportation and logistics management have transformed the intercity transport business in the country.
“Frank Nneji’s leadership, innovation and commitment to service excellence have continued to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs and logistics professionals across Africa.
“We are honoured to have him chair this landmark anniversary lecture,” Ebosele said.
An entrepreneur and management expert, Nneji established ABC Transport Plc with a vision to revolutionise road transportation in Nigeria through safety, comfort, technology and customer-focused services.
Under his leadership, ABC Transport pioneered several innovations in Nigeria’s transport industry, including organised shuttle services, modern terminal operations, online booking systems and improved passenger safety standards.
Over the years, the company expanded into haulage, logistics, hospitality, vehicle leasing and regional transport services across West Africa, earning a reputation for professionalism and operational excellence.
Nneji is widely respected for his contributions to private sector development, youth empowerment and entrepreneurship promotion.
He has received several awards and recognitions for excellence in business leadership and transportation development.
The City Business News 10th Anniversary Lecture is expected to provide a platform for robust discussions on the critical role of logistics and transportation infrastructure in driving Nigeria’s economic growth and regional trade integration.
Ebosele stated that the highlight of the event would be a keynote lecture titled, “Logistics As The Engine Room Of Nigeria’s Economy,” to be delivered by Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi.
Dr. Oyeyemi, OFR, mni, NPOM, FCILT, is a respected authority in transportation and logistics management. He is the immediate past Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps and the current President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Ebosele noted that the lecture would bring together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, including maritime operators, transport experts, policymakers, regulators, bankers, manufacturers and media practitioners, among others.
