As part of measures to tackle traffic challenges along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, especially towards the Lagos end of the busy road, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is to maintain 24 hour partrol along the axis.
The Corp Marshal of FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, who gave the hint on Thursday while speaking on Channels Television breakfast programme, explained that the Police and Civil Defence will provide security cover for FRSC traffic personnel.
He advised motorists and other road users to abide by laid down rules and regulations, adding that five courts have been established in the axis to try road traffic offenders.
Oyeyemi who spoke on sundry issues appealed to motorists across the country to abide by traffic rules and regulations in the interest of all road users.
