Jetour is raising the bar in Nigeria’s Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment with the introduction of the T2 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), a model that combines rugged off-road capability with advanced electrification technology.
Designed for motorists seeking power without sacrificing comfort and efficiency, the T2 PHEV makes a bold statement with its imposing dimensions—4,785mm in length, 2,006mm in width, and 1,875mm in height—offering both road presence and practicality.
According to Jetour Nigeria, the SUV is engineered to deliver a balance between performance and efficiency, ensuring a smooth and refined driving experience for both urban commuting and long-distance travel.
To support nationwide accessibility, accredited dealers including Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos Limited, R.T. Briscoe Motors, and Mandilas Autos are providing sales and aftersales services across the country.
One of the standout features of the T2 PHEV is its dual driving capability. The SUV delivers strong fuel efficiency on petrol while seamlessly switching to pure electric mode when needed, helping to reduce fuel consumption and align with Nigeria’s push for cleaner energy solutions.
Jetour has also tackled concerns around electric vehicle usability by equipping the T2 Hybrid with multiple charging options, including fast charging, slow charging, engine charging, and brake energy recovery. This system ensures the battery is continuously replenished during operation, effectively eliminating range anxiety.
When battery levels drop, the 1.5-litre turbocharged engine functions as a generator, charging the battery while the vehicle remains in motion. Energy is stored in a 26.73kWh battery, enabling the SUV to confidently navigate highways, city roads, and rough terrains.
The launch further strengthens Jetour’s growing footprint in Nigeria. In 2024, the brand earned the Fastest Growing Brand award at the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association Awards, while the Jetour Dashing was named Nigeria’s Car of the Year in 2025.
Safety remains a key highlight of the T2 PHEV, with features such as multiple airbags, Advanced Emergency Braking, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, anti-rollover control, and a 360-degree camera system offering both 2D and 3D views. Additional driver-assist technologies include lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, collision alerts, and automatic door locking.
Inside, the SUV delivers a premium experience with a 15.6-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside Bluetooth connectivity, voice commands, and wireless charging. Other comfort features include adaptive cruise control, a panoramic roof, ventilated power seats, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, and LED Matrix headlamps.
Performance is powered by an advanced 3-speed Super E-Hybrid DHT system, enabling smooth electric driving for daily use and robust turbocharged performance for longer trips.
Backed by a five-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty, the T2 PHEV reflects Jetour’s confidence in its technology and commitment to Nigerian motorists.
With the T2 PHEV, Jetour is not just delivering an SUV—it is offering a smarter, cleaner, and more versatile driving experience tailored for modern mobility.
