Moroccan star, Achraf Hakimi has been crowned the 2025 CAF Men’s Player of the Year.
The 27-year-old Paris Saint-Germain defender received the prestigious honour at the CAF Awards gala held on Wednesday night in Rabat, Morocco.
Hakimi beat Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah to win Africa’s top individual football prize, becoming the first Moroccan to claim the award since Mustapha Hadji in 1998.
