NAHCO Hosts New NDLEA MMIA Commander

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Plc) on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, received the newly appointed Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Strategic Command, CN Muhammad Tukur Ahmad, during a courtesy visit to its Lagos Head Office following his recent assumption of duty.
Describing the engagement as a homecoming rather than a routine official visit, the Commander highlighted the long-standing cordial and productive relationship between the NDLEA and NAHCO, noting that the existing cooperation has continued to support effective aviation security and operational efficiency at the airport.
CN Ahmad was warmly received by NAHCO’s Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, Dr. Sola Obabori, who expressed appreciation for the visit and underscored the enduring partnership between both organisations. Dr. Obabori reaffirmed NAHCO’s commitment to further strengthening collaboration with the NDLEA in order to enhance security and ensure seamless ground handling operations within the aviation sector.
The NDLEA Commander was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including the Deputy Commander, MMIA Strategic Command, CN Akinleye Oluwafunmilayo; DC Admin/Logistics, DC Ndukwu Chidi; Head, Operations, SAHCO, CN Muhammad Usman; Head, Operations, NAHCO, CN Isah Mohd Zuru; DC, Operations and Training, DCN Rabiu Hussaini; Chief Security Officer, ACN Isah R.U.; Officer-in-Charge, NAHCO Export, CAN Bala A. Umaru; Head of Media, ACN Job Blessing I.; the Commander’s Secretary, ASN I Ogbodo Nnenna; and a member of the Media Team, ASN II Aiyenomuro Funmi.
Also present to receive the delegation alongside the Group Executive Director were NAHCO’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Adeoye Emiloju; General Manager, External Affairs, Mr. Bashir Gulma; Cargo Services Manager, Mr. Oluwole Olalandu; Security Services Manager, Col. Olumide Kolajo (rtd.); Legal Officer, Mrs. Ajike Adetula; and Security Supervisor, Mr. Buba Adamu.
The visit further reinforced the shared commitment of NAHCO and the NDLEA to sustaining strong inter-agency collaboration in support of aviation safety, security and operational excellence at Nigeria’s premier international gateway.
