NAHCO Sponsors Nigeria-India Export Summit, Backs Sustainable Trade Growth

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s export growth and strengthening trade relations between Nigeria and India by sponsoring the Nigeria-India Export Summit in Lagos.
The summit, organised by the Nigerian-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI), was held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in Lagos, with NAHCO represented by a team led by its Chief Subsidiaries Officer, Mr Imroz Uddin.
The event, themed “Driving Sustainable Export Growth through Trade, Investment and Market Access between Nigeria and India,” provided a platform for stakeholders to explore partnerships and opportunities for strengthening the export value chain between both countries.
As a major provider of aviation ground handling and cargo services, NAHCO plays a key role in facilitating the movement of goods across borders.
The company’s subsidiaries also participated in the summit, highlighting their roles in supporting businesses engaged in domestic and international trade.
NAHCO Logistics Services Limited (NLS) provides logistics solutions across air, land and sea, while NAHCO Free Trade Zone (NFZ) supports the Federal Government’s free trade zone initiative at the airports.
NAHCO Commodities Limited (NCL), on the other hand, provides solutions designed to simplify the export process for businesses seeking access to international markets.
The summit attracted prominent stakeholders in Nigeria-India trade relations, including the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Free Zone Company (Tolaram), Mrs Adesuwa Ladoja; Deputy Director, National Single Window Project, Nigeria Revenue Service, Mr Jude Oboh; Founder and CEO, Ascentech Services Ltd and Director, Agenture Commodities Ltd, Mr Sheeju Prabhakaran; Chief Operating Officer, Philips Consulting Limited, Olawale Moronkeji, PhD, FCIM; Economist, Public Policy Consultant and Founder/Chief Consultant, B. Adedipe Associates Limited, Prof. Abiodun Adedipe; and Country Manager, ECU Worldwide, FMA Line Nigeria Ltd, Mr Puneet Arora.
The summit focused on connecting markets, promoting investment and identifying practical opportunities for expanding trade between Nigeria and India, with emphasis on sustainable export growth and improved market access.
