
Barely 24 hours after he assumed office, the new Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Apapa Port Command, Comptroller Emmanuel Oshoba has attained a new revenue collection of ₦20,156,077,098.56., as against the previous record of ₦18 billion.
Oshoba attributes the success to the team’s efforts and stakeholders’ compliance, urging officers to maintain the momentum.
He emphasised that the achievement is just the beginning of greater exploits and encouraged his team to focus on future targets.
He praised the Unified Customs Management System, “B’Odogwu”, as a necessity for modernising customs administration in Nigeria and strengthening the country’s position as Africa’s largest economy.
He believes that collective efforts are positively impacting the Nigerian economy and urged officers and stakeholders to continue working together to achieve more results.
