The new Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Rivers, Salisu Galadunci, has called for cooperation from sister security agencies in the state.
Galadunci made the call in a statement issued by the command’s Public Education Officer, Mr Micheal John, on Friday in Port Harcourt.
He said that he had visited the Commissioner of Police in the state, Joseph Mukan and the state Director, Department of State Services (DSS), Mr Shittu Muhammed.
The sector commander said that he told Mukan and Muhammed during their separate meetings that he needed their support to succeed in his new assignment in the state.
“My visit to sister security agencies is to familiarise myself with them and seek synergy in our operations in the state.
“I am happy with the cordial working relationship that is existing among security agencies towards achieving the common national goal,” he said.
The statement quoted Mukan and Muhammed as assuring the sector commander of their support and cooperation to ensure effective fight against crime in the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Galadunci took over from Asst. Corps Marshal, David Mende in the latest promotion and posting announced by FRSC
