A report put together by National Human Right Commission (NHRC) has indicted 118 person of allegedly committing various offences including violence.
According to the report, those indcted alledgly committed the offence during the 2007 and 2011 general elections.
The report identified former chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Maurice Iwu, former Governors of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan, Prof Oserheimen Osunbor, former Acting Governor of Kogi State, Clarence Obafemi, among others
Others are the Independent National Electoral Commission and its officials in Anambra, Ebonyi, Delta, Kastina, Kogi and Rivers States, the Appeal Court, Election Petition Tribunals and political parties such as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Nigerian People Party (ANPP).
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Ben Angwe explained that those indicted will be further investigated and charged to courts.
