The Director of Administration and Human Resources at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mrs. Moji A. Jimoh, has been formally inducted into the Fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the highest professional cadre of the institute.
The induction took place during the Nigerian Public Relations Week (NPRW) 2026, tagged “Croc City 2026,” held in Kaduna. The event, themed “Food Security: From Public Policy to Public Plate,” brought together stakeholders for high-level discussions on strategies to tackle hunger and strengthen food systems across Africa.
Mrs. Jimoh was inducted alongside 15 other distinguished professionals by the President and Chairman of Council of the NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku. The colourful ceremony was held at the new banquet hall of the Kaduna State Government House and formed part of activities marking the five-day conference.
The NIPR Fellowship is conferred on members who have demonstrated excellence and consistency in the practice of public relations for over a decade. Candidates are required to undergo a rigorous screening process, including the presentation of verifiable contributions to the body of knowledge in public relations, as well as written submissions and oral interviews.
Jimoh’s elevation to the rank of Fellow is seen as recognition of her professional contributions and commitment to advancing the practice of public relations within Nigeria’s maritime sector and beyond.
