NNPCL Donates 35 CNG Buses To PCNG-i

In a significant push toward sustainable transportation and energy reform, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has handed over 35 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered buses to the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNG-i).
The symbolic presentation, which took place on Monday at the NNPC Towers in Abuja, was led by Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd., Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari.
The vehicles were received on behalf of the PCNG-i by Mr. Michael Oluwagbemi, the initiative’s Chief Executive Officer.
According to a statement issued by NNPC, the donation underscored the national oil company’s “strategic commitment to deepening gas utilisation and supporting Nigeria’s transition to cleaner, more affordable energy for transportation.”
