The Council and Management of Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), on Monday, September 16, 2019 will celebrate one of its founding fathers, Chief Akintola Williams with a symbolic Closing Gong Ceremony.
Born August 9, 1919 (age 100), Chief Akintola Williams was the first African to qualify as a chartered accountant.
He also participated in founding the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, among others.
