In terms of performance, Peugeot vehicles are known world-wide for their resilience and durability and this is not any different in Nigeria as PAN Nigeria, Kaduna has stood the test of time.
The Kaduna based factory has passed through thick and thin and after witnessing different phases, is currently poised for the market with different models in spite of the harsh economic terrain.
Though the company looks forward to beef up its line-up, chief among its current models are the 301, which won Car of the Year last year, 508, 3008, 4008 and Partner Tepee.
Coming in three trims-Access, Active and Allure, the Peugeot 301 comes in two engine variants including 1.2 and 1.6 litre power plants. The 1.2 litre engine comes standard with manual transmission, while the 1.6 litre engine version is equipped with automatic transmission. Its 15 inch alloy rim, and reinforced suspension, it fits perfectly on the Nigerian roads and delivers unbeatable ground clearance.
Other outstanding features of the car include rear parking sensor, touches of chrome, electronic windows and dual air bags, ABS, radio/MP3/CD player/USB Bluetooth etc,
Then comes the 508. It is probably one of the most powerful cars in its category, yet the engine capacity is 1.6 litres. It is fitted with a 1.6 litre turbo engine that delivers more power than most 3.0 litre engines. And we have the Peugeot 3008, which was earlier launched as an MPV. It made its debut at the Paris motor show in October as a full blown Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The interior of Peugeot 3008 looks like a futuristic design with Peugeot’s latest i-Cockpit design. The new cockpit is easily accessible by Driver as well as the passenger. There is an 8-inch high-resolution screen compatible with both Android auto and Apple Car-Play.

The new Partner Tepee comes in two trim levels – Active and Outdoor. The entry-level trim equips the Partner Tepee with 15in steel wheel, front foglights and LED day-running-lights outside, and inside there is air conditioning, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and cruise control inside. Upgrade to the Outdoor model and you’ll find the Partner Tepee adorned with 16in alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, electrically folding mirrors, automatic wipers and lights, and Peugeot’s touchscreen infotainment system.
