In recognition of its contributions to the Nigeria economy especially the agricultural sector, Presco Plc has emerged winner of the City Business News 2023 Company of The Year Award.
With head office in Benin City, Edo State, Presco Plc is a fully-integrated agro-industrial establishment with oil palm plantations, palm oil mill, palm kernel crushing plant and vegetable oil refining and fractionation plant.
Presco Plc is also the Nigerian market leader for speciality fats and oils.
Speaking at the event held at Oriental Hotels, Lagos, Executive Director, City Business News, Yetunde Ebosele, commended Presco Plc for its outstanding performance despite various challenges.
The event tagged “Repositioning Nigerian Economy: 2023 & Beyond” was attended by Group Managing Director, Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, Oscar Onyema, represented by Group Chief Investment Officer, Mr Tony Idugboe and Former Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC), Hassan Bello, among others.
Receiving the award, Relations Manager, Presco Plc, Anthony Uwajeh commended organisers of the event, adding that the honour is an encouragement to the company to do more.
