The Presidency through the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura, has recalled Punch Correspondent at the presidential Villa, Mr olalekan Adetayo whose accreditation was revoked on Monday.
Presidential spokesman Mr. Femi Adesina, had lamented the circumstances under which Mr Adetayo’s accreditation was revoked, claiming he the correspondent was expelled from his duty post.
Mr Adetayo was sent packing from the Viila, on Monday in a style reminiscent of military era by the Chief security officer (CSO) to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Bashir Abubakar over a story on President Buhari’s state of health.
Senior Special Assistance to the President on Media and Publicity to President Muhamadu Buhari, Garba Shehu, said “We just got a clearance from Mallam Lawal Daura, the DG SSS to recall Lekan to the Villa.”
