Skyway Aviation Handling Company, SAHCO PLC, has rewarded three members of its Aircraft Appearance team for demonstrating exceptional honesty and integrity after finding and promptly returning passengers’ valuables discovered onboard aircraft.
The recognition, according to the company, underscores its commitment to building a professional workforce guided by integrity, discipline, accountability and high standards of service in the aviation industry.
On September 10, 2026, Marvelous Anyalebechi, Staff No. 2447, found a Samsung mobile phone onboard Ethiopian Airlines flight ET903 and immediately handed it over to Security for safekeeping and subsequent recovery by its rightful owner.
Similarly, Ramon Rodiat, Staff No. 3340, discovered an AirPod onboard the same flight and promptly surrendered it to the security personnel.
In a separate incident, Asekunoowo David, Staff No. 3606, found a purse onboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight containing cash, rings and necklaces. He also handed the item over to Security for proper handling and recovery.
In recognition of their exemplary conduct, SAHCO Management rewarded the three staff members with gifts and commended them for upholding the values of honesty and integrity expected of every member of the organisation.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of SAHCO, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, said the actions of the staff reflected the culture of professionalism the company continues to promote across its operations.
