Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, has said that delivering exceptional customer service is essential for businesses to earn customers’ trust, sustain loyalty and build lasting relationships.
Afolabi stated this during the celebration of this year’s Customer Service Week at the company’s headquarters in Lagos, noting that a strong customer service culture had contributed to the success of the group’s subsidiaries across various sectors.
He said the company remained committed to improving service delivery and creating positive customer experiences through responsiveness, trust and sustained engagement.
“Your patronage and partnerships inspire us to continually raise the standard of service we provide. At SIFAX Group, we believe that exceptional service is not just about meeting expectations but about creating experiences built on trust, responsiveness and lasting relationships,” he said.
The SIFAX Group chairman expressed appreciation to the company’s customers and staff for their contributions to its growth and development.
“On behalf of the board and management, I wish to express our deepest appreciation to you, our esteemed customers and members of staff, for being an important part of our journey. Happy Customer Service Week. We are always happy going the extra mile for you,” Afolabi added.
Also speaking, Wunmi Eniola-Jegede, Group Coordinating Director, who was represented by Oliver Omajuwa, Director of Operations and Strategy, commended employees for their role in implementing the company’s vision and strengthening customer relationships through effective service delivery.
She described customers as the lifeblood of the organisation, stressing that the group had positioned itself to respond to their needs and exceed their expectations.
“To us at SIFAX Group, every day is a Customer Service Day because the customers are the lifeblood of our company. We have positioned ourselves to respond, service and exceed the expectations of our customers every day,” she said.
Eniola-Jegede said the celebration provided an opportunity to appreciate customers for their continued patronage while recognising employees whose efforts were critical to delivering quality service.
The week-long celebration was held across the group’s subsidiaries and featured health talks, medical checks, town hall meetings, wellness and fitness sessions, customer visits and games.
Staff members also participated in themed dress days featuring traditional attire, old-school fashion, corporate wear and sportswear, among others.
Customer Service Week is celebrated annually to raise awareness of the importance of customer service and recognise the contributions of employees who serve and support customers.
