The November edition of the Jerusalem Pilgrimage packaged by Ufitfly came to an end in Israel with the participants receiving their Justice of the Peace (JP) certificates.
The 9-days pilgrimage which saw the pilgrims depart the shores of Nigeria for Israel on the November 1, 2017, at about 8pm, involved visitation to key historical sites including the Wailing Wall, Golgotha, Christ’s Tomb, the Mount of Transfiguration, the Yardenit Baptismal Site on the Jordan and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem among others and was concluded in a befitting ceremony with testimonies from the pilgrims.
According to one of the participants, the pilgrimage wasn’t just an exercise for sightseeing but a trip for spiritual renewal, reflection and the revalidation of Christian tenets and experiences in the company of people of like-precious faith.
Enjoining other Christians to follow the example of the pilgrims, the team leader, Mr. Ajibola Ogunkeyede, hinted that the December edition of the Pilgrimage promises a lot more and boasts of the company of big names in the Christian circle in Ibadan such as Evang (Dr) Bola Are and Pastor Abraham Akinpelu of the Christ Apostolic Church, Agbala Itura.
