The management of United Capital Plc has announced the death of six of its staff following the tragic incident at Afriland Towers in Lagos, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
In a statement issued by the company on Monday on their X page, the deceased were identified as Jesutoni Shodipo, Kehinde Adeoye, Ndidi Osaemedike-Okeke, Olumide Oyefodunrin, Opeyemi Oloyede, and Rebecca Adenuga.
The management described the loss as “immeasurable,” noting that the late employees were an integral part of the company and its family.
“It is with profound grief that we announce the passing of six of our dear colleagues, following the tragic fire at Afriland Towers.
“Their painful loss leaves an immeasurable void,” the company said
The company expressed its condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the deceased, pledging continued support during this difficult period.
