
United Nigeria Airlines marked a historic milestone December 10, 2025, as flight UN05622 successfully landed at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Airport in Ado-Ekiti, becoming the first-ever commercial flight to touch down at the state’s new airport.
The flight, which departed from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, symbolizes United Nigeria Airlines’ continued commitment to expanding domestic connectivity and enhancing access across Nigeria.
The landmark arrival was warmly received by the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, who welcomed the Abuja service alongside other inaugural flights from Lagos.
In a statement, the airline reaffirmed its dedication to uniting travelers with their destinations and supporting national development through safe, reliable, and customer-centered air travel.
