
The newly appointed Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Doris Uzoka-Anite, has congratulated Taiwo Oyedele on his nomination as Minister of State for Finance, expressing optimism about his confirmation and success in office.
Uzoka-Anite, who was recently redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, described her appointment as an honour and a renewed call to service. She expressed deep appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what she termed his continued confidence in her ability to serve.
“I am deeply honoured and grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for redeploying me to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Minister of State. I remain fully committed to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda and delivering measurable outcomes for Nigerians,” she said.
While congratulating Oyedele on his nomination, Uzoka-Anite wished him a smooth confirmation process and every success in his new assignment, noting that effective collaboration between the finance and planning arms of government would be critical to advancing national development goals.
She also expressed readiness to work closely with the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, as well as the leadership of the ministry and stakeholders across the federation to strengthen coordination, align planning and budgeting processes, and accelerate inclusive economic growth.
Reaffirming her commitment to the administration’s economic reform drive, Uzoka-Anite thanked the President for his leadership and trust, pledging to contribute meaningfully to the realisation of national priorities.
