The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has acquired additional 15 security screening machines.
According to FAAN, the screening machines are for immediate deployment to the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, explained in a statement on Monday that installation of the screening machines was already in process.
She explained that this was in a bid to address recent challenges in airport operations and facilitation management systems at the airports.
Yakubu said that FAAN was also tackling such challenges at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
She said that all hands were on deck to ensure speedy completion of the project.
