The Niger State command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Friday announced plans to auction impounded vehicles that have “overstayed in its formations across the state”.
A statement issued by Joel Dagwa, Sector Commander and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria explained that: “in view of the above, members of the public whose vehicles are in the custody of the FRSC are hereby advised to come with evidence of ownership and evidence of payment of fines and demurrage.”
The statement urged the affected persons to fulfill the conditions within two weeks of the notice to avoid their vehicles being auctioned in accordance with the provisions of the FRSC establishment Act.
