For the month of February, 2021, Hyundai Motor India on Monday reported growth of 29% in domestic sales at 51,600 units, against 40,010 units in the same month last year.
Exports were up by 14.6% to 10,200 units in February 2021 over February 2020 when 8,900 units were exported, Hyundai said.
Cumulative sales grew 26.4% to 61,800 units for the month under review. The automaker had sold a total of 48,910 units in the corresponding month last year.
Tarun Garg, director – sales, marketing and service, HMIL said, “Hyundai Motor India has been consistently striving to drive a resurgence in sales, thereby contributing to economic recovery and bringing the industry closer to pre-COVID level. With a cumulative sales of 61 800 units in February 2021, Hyundai has recorded growth across segments.”
Both the domestic and the export demand have recorded healthy double-digit growth in February 2021, reflecting an all-around improvement in buyer sentiment, said Garg .
