
The Management and Staff of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) has congratulated the newly announced President of the Association of Africa’s Auto Journalist (AAAJ), Mike Ochonma.
City Business News reports that the Director General of NADDC, Mr Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin in a message he personally signed described the emergence of Ochonma as “excellent success”.
NADDC Boss said: “Your marvelous skills, hard work and contributions towards stimulating the automotive industry through Auto Journalism, in Nigeria, Africa and beyond is a big inspiration to all journalists.Congratulations on your excellent success”.
City Business reports that AAAJ was Unveiled on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda.
Mike Ochonma, is former vice chairman and later two-term Chairman of the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) from 2019-2025.
Other executive members of the new AAAJ are Trevor Lamenya (Kenyan), Vice President, Fact Jeke (Zimbabwean) Secretary General, while veteran Moses Akaigwe of Nigeria and Richard Wiley of South Africa are to serve as Advisers, other positions will be announced in due course.
