
Delegates of Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) have paid a courtesy visit to the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Secretariat in Doha, Qatar, on the sidelines of the ongoing LNG2026 conference.
According to NLNG, the visit forms part of ongoing engagements aimed at strengthening cooperation and dialogue on developments in the global gas market.
The NLNG delegation, led by the Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Olakunle Osobu, was received by the Secretary General of GECF, Dr. Philip Mshelbila, alongside members of the Secretariat’s leadership team.
Discussions during the visit focused on key issues shaping the global gas industry, including gas market outlooks, energy economics, data and analytics, infrastructure development, as well as the role of natural gas in enhancing energy security and supporting sustainable development.
The engagement provided a platform for both organisations to exchange views and explore areas of mutual interest in advancing the role of natural gas in the evolving global energy landscape.
According to NLNG, the visit underscores commitment to collaboration, constructive dialogue, and active participation in global gas industry conversations.
