NSML MD Lauds 2024 Performance, Stakeholders

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, NLNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML), Abdulkadir Ahmed, has described the year 2024 as watershed year for the company.
Addressing staff and stakeholders at the 2024 Performance Recognition Awards ceremony held on Friday night, at Bonny Island, Rivers State, Abdulkadir Ahmed commended all stakeholders for the growth recorded.
The NSML boss, who declined to disclosed financial transactions within the year (2024), explained that the company attained 13 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI).
He said: “2024 was one of our best years. It was also a watershed year in terms of operational performance, both on our vessels, at the terminal, and our various work locations“.
He commended staff and all stakeholders for making the year 2024 an outstanding one
“All of this wouldn’t have been achieved without the hard work and dedication of all our people. And I underline all our people. All our people are not just those on our payroll, but all our people are essentially everybody associated with what we do. Our staff and our partners.
“It shows really what can be achieved if we all work together, collaborate together, but most importantly, keep our eyes on the ball“.
According to the NSML MD, the focus of the company is to be safe, reliable and add value, adding that over the last five years, the company has doubled capacity and expanded operations.
He added: “It is our expectation that this year (2025), we will continue to expand in terms of assets under management and what we do.
