Ahead of another convention slated for August 17 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Caretaker Committee has inaugurated an 82 member committee.
The committee is expected to help design zoning of party positions to different regions of the country.
According to PDP, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, will chair the committee, while Ibrahim Dankwambo, Governor of Gombe State, and Gabriel Suswan, immediate-past governor of Benue State, are to serve as deputy chairman and secretary of the committee, respectively.
