
The National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to the growth of Nigeria’s automotive sector and motorsports culture by throwing its support behind Tinubu’s Turbo Fest 2026.
Under the leadership of its Director-General, Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, the Council said the initiative aligns with its strategic drive to promote local automotive development and innovation across the country.
City Business News reports that the event is expected to bring together car enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, and motorsport lovers for a vibrant showcase of speed, creativity, and engineering excellence.
Highlights of the festival will include drifting competitions, car exhibitions, and high-performance automotive displays designed to spotlight emerging trends and capabilities within Nigeria’s automotive ecosystem.
Scheduled to hold at Eagle Square by 11:00 a.m. on March 29, 2026, the event is part of NADDC’s broader vision of positioning Nigeria as a leading hub for motorsports and automotive innovation in Africa.
