To ensure the crucial participation of concerned stakeholders, Friends of SITEI have opted to move the conference to a new date: Tuesday, 25th October 2016.
A statement issued by the organisers explain that the SITEI conference which is an annual multi-stakeholder meeting focused on bringing together stakeholders in the extractive industries “will build on outcomes of the Road to SITEI pre-conference meeting which held in Abuja on the 14th of September, 2016”.
According to the organisers, with a focus on sustained investment and revitalisation of the economy, “the SITEI conference portends to be an engaging platform for solution across sectors”.
The statement said: “The Road to SITEI pre-meeting was a success. The ministry of solid minerals and the Minister, Dr Kayode Fayemi, showed support for our work and our soon to be launched principles aimed at educating stakeholders on the way forward.
“We deeply apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause you and remain grateful for your support towards the success of our conference and trust that you will grace us with your presence at the conference at the new date”, said Bekeme Masade.
