The Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) has crirised distruption of its scheduled Annual General Meeting (AGM) by Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) led by Joe Ajaero.
NECA in a statement said the protesting workers did not allow any person to enter or exit its premises, describing the action as illegal uncalled for.
The Director General of NECA, Mr Olusegun Oshinowo, while addressing the press pointed out that the action amounted to alleged criminality.
But, Ajaero in a statement said Nigerian workers led by the NLC went on a peaceful protest to NECA to draw attention of the public to the continued “enslavement of workers in Nigeria especially in the Banking sector by Employers.
