SCAN President Appreciates Members, Stakeholders

The President, Shipping Correspondents Association of Nigeria (SCAN), Mr. Moses Ebosele, has commended members of the association for their support, resilience and professionalism throughout 2025, while assuring them of a more rewarding year ahead.
In his New Year message, Ebosele welcomed colleagues and stakeholders to 2026 and expressed appreciation for their cooperation and commitment despite the challenges encountered in the past year.
He also commended key stakeholders, including the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) and the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).
Ebosele further acknowledged the sustained partnership and support of SIFAX Group, members of the Seaport Terminal Operators Association of Nigeria (STOAN), Truck Transit Parks Limited (TTP), Master Mariners, among others.
According to Ebosele, the collective effort and belief in the association’s shared vision ensured that SCAN continued to make steady progress, reinforcing its reputation as a credible, respected and closely knit family of maritime journalists.
Looking ahead, the SCAN President said 2026 holds great promise, stressing that the leadership is committed to consolidating achievements recorded so far, improving members’ welfare, deepening engagement with key stakeholders and creating more opportunities that will benefit all members.
He expressed confidence that with renewed focus, transparency and collective effort, the new year would be more productive and rewarding for the association.
Ebosele urged members to sustain the spirit of brotherhood, mutual respect and shared responsibility that define SCAN, while wishing them and their families a prosperous, fulfilling and successful New Year.
